How Scheduled Payouts Work
Funds accumulate in a merchant’s balance as transactions are processed through your platform. At each configured interval, Jupico sweeps the available balance and initiates a transfer to the merchant’s linked bank account. The process is fully automated: once the schedule is set, payouts go out without any action on your part. Available schedules:- Daily — funds are transferred every business day
- Weekly — funds are transferred once per week on a configured day
- Monthly — funds are transferred once per month on a configured date
Benefits
- Consistent schedule: Merchants receive funds at predictable intervals, making it easier for them to plan cash flow.
- Reduced administrative overhead: Automated transfers eliminate the need for manual payout initiation.
- Simplified cash flow management: A regular cadence reduces reconciliation complexity for both your platform and your merchants.
Configuration
Payout schedules are configured at the merchant or submerchant level through the Jupico Backoffice. To set up or change a payout schedule, navigate to the merchant’s settings in Backoffice and select the desired payout interval.Sandbox behavior: In the sandbox environment, transaction processing is accelerated to approximately 2 minutes. In production, transactions settle in end-of-day batches and payouts are disbursed with next-day settlement.
